Local meat for Christmas from our Butchery!

Our award-winning beef is fattened on the Oakchurch farm and dry-aged to give it it’s fantastic flavour and unique texture. Rolled sirloin, topside, rib of beef and melt-in-the mouth steaks. It’s the lush and nutritious Herefordshire grass that makes all the difference.
Our lamb comes from a farm just up the road in nearby Bredwardine and is so succulent, and our free-range pork from Packington’s – a fourth generation family farm of over 100 years.

From just across the border in Monmouthshire, Usk Vale free range turkeys are firm
favourites and our boneless turkey breast, gently wrapped in streaky bacon, is always a popular choice.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without lots of pigs in blankets. We make our sausages using Packington’s free-range pork and wrap them by hand in their lovely streaky bacon.
