GET CREATIVE AND MAKE YOUR OWN SCARECROW
An annual charity scarecrow competition is being judged once again this year by
local TV celebrity and antiques expert, Kate Bliss.
Organised in aid of Friends of Staunton school, the event will be held at Oakchurch Farm Shop at Staunton-on-Wye on Sunday 20th August.
Judging will be at 11am with lots of other traditional fund-raising activities taking place throughout the day – skittles, coconut shy, face painting and more.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be hosting the event again this year.” Said Oakchurch owner, Nick Price. “Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.”
Entry is free and entry forms are available at Oakchurch tills.
First prize is an Oakchurch Taste of Herefordshire hamper worth £150.
